Me: "What made you interested in Chemistry?"
Alexandra: "My interest started early in my high school years. The content was interesting and the labs and experiments were really amazing!"
Me: "What kind of work do you do? Work ethics, labs, etc.?"
Alexandra: "Well right now, I'm basically learning more about the subject of Polymers . I do a lot of research concerning them. Its the process in which plastics, adhesives, sieves, elastics, and coatings are mass produced and marketed. My field of study constitutes 50% of chemical and industrial production. It's a very active field."

Me: "What do you think will be the best part about the job?"
Alexandra: "It would be working in the lab and observing the chemicals for reactions. I get really excited when I think about one day creating or discovering a new material. And the fact that I'll be able to wake up in the morning knowing that I'm doing something with my life that I'm passionate about. It seems as if that's becoming a rare occurrence in this day and age."
Me: "Do you have a role model or a source of inspiration in the field of Chemistry?"
Alexandra: "I can honestly say that this identity I have as a Chemist is something that I created all on my own. I've generated my own interest, and took the liberty of creating a lifestyle out of it."
Me: "What would you say to a student who is interested in becoming a Chemist?"
Alexandra: "I would say go for it! Just make sure that you're up for the challenge and will stick with it through thick and thin. Although being a Chemist can be fun, it comes with a lot of work and effort that needs to be put into it. If you're interested and dedicated, then this career field would be perfect for you."
